The smelliest dog in Quebec

Hi ny name is Kris Ritter and I am writing this blog to share my adventure and stories as I make my way across this beautiful country. I was born and raised on Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. I met a guy and he became a Mountie and got posted to Port Hardy which is in the northern eastern part of Vancouver Island , BC.

I packed up my life and unfortunetly I couldn't take my mom, dad or little brother. So it's a bitter sweet new chapter of my life .

My dad has had this ongoing joke that I wasn't allowed to take the family dog Sophie with me even though it was already decided she would come as she's grown close to me over her 6 years on earth.

We said our good byes and loaded up tokoyo drift and headed on to our adventure across Canada.

Before my dad decided to give up on his joke about Tyson and I not taking Sophie he dosed her in my 12 year old brothers wannabe after shave and gave her a pile of garlicy tomato sauce.

It was the worst smell. We tried wiping it off, gave her Timbits to try and cover up he smell and we even gave her some mint gum. Nothing worked it's 8 am the next the next day and her breathe smells worse.


We spent last night in Quebec City at Tyson's grandmothers. Her name is Jeannine and she is a very sweet lady and made us a feast. This morning when we woke up she has breakfast cooking. She also had a huge smile on her face when Sophie came around.

We are on our way to Sudbary today to stay with family friends Steph and Chris.
